PPE | Prospective Students

Open Days

The next PPE Open Days will be on Wednesday 28 June, Thursday 29 June, and Friday 15 September in 2017.

PPE events and information will be in the Manor Road Building (Manor Road, Oxford OX1 3UQ). The building is fully accessible.

What’s On

PPE at Oxford Talks

PPE tutors will talk about the structure of the course and how to apply for 20 minutes, and then take questions for 30 minutes. The first talk will be 10.00-10.50 (repeated at 11.00, 14.45, and 15.45).

PPE Information Desks

The desks will be staffed by current students and PPE tutors from 10.00-16.00.

Library Tours

The Social Sciences Library is the main lending library for Politics and Economics books in the University and is frequently used by PPE students. The first tour of the library will be at 10.50-11.10 (repeated at 11.50, 14.15, and 15.15).

Do I need to register?

You do not need to register for the events listed above.

Where else should I go?

On the three Open Days the entire University will be open to prospective applicants, so as well as visiting the Manor Road Building to find out about PPE, we recommend that you visit other parts of the University, such as colleges or the Philosophy and Theology Faculties Library. Some events will require booking. See ox.ac.uk/opendays for details and ox.ac.uk/ugcolls for a list of colleges offering PPE.

Can I visit at another time?

We do not take visitors outside the official Open Days but if you have any questions please contact us by email or telephone.
