The next PPE Open Days will be on Wednesday 28 June, Thursday 29 June, and Friday 15 September in 2017.
PPE Admissions Talks
PPE tutors will talk about the structure of the PPE course and what you need to do to apply, and take questions. A hearing loop is available on request.
PPE Information Desks
The information desks will be staffed by current students and PPE tutors. You are welcome to discuss PPE with those at the desk, and there will also be various materials on offer. The desks will be in the foyer of the Manor Road Building.
Staff at the Social Sciences Library will give tours. There will be signposts directing you to the Social Sciences Library within the Manor Road Building.
Do I need to register?
You do not need to register for the Library Tours or the Admissions Talks, nor do you need to register to attend the Open Days.
Where else should I go?
On the three open days, the entire University will be open to prospective applicants, so as well as visiting the Manor Road Building to find out about PPE, we recommend that you visit colleges.
Colleges are where PPE students live, where they spend most of their time, and where tutorial teaching takes place.
Nearly all colleges have places for PPE students, but it is worth double-checking the list of colleges that offer PPE here.
You may want to visit the Philosophy Theology Faculties Library, which is the dedicated library for students of Philosophy (the Social Sciences Library covers Politics and Economics). This is located here, and will be open to prospective students and their parents.
Can I visit at another time?
We do not take visitors outside the official Open Days. However, if you have any questions please do get in touch; contact details for enquiries relating to PPE are here.
